Default Sallins 25mph speed restriction gone!

At long last, 7 months after the works began, the 25mph crawl through Sallins is over - at least on the down track.

Not 90mph more like 60-70 today but a good improverment. This evenings 18:05 left Hazelhatch on time and arrived in Kildare 6 minues early where it sat for 6 minutes.

Default

Since Christmas a large number of restrictions were either removed or the permitted speed increased. The Mk4 trains suffer badly as they have very poor acceleration

Between Dublin and Cork at the start of December no fewer than 24 temporary restrictions most of them 25mph
