Dublin-Newry day return - online cheaper?
Heading on a day trip to Newry tomorrow. Website shows Eur 29 return.
Just wondering if it's much more expensive to buy the ticket at the station on the day - I'd rather not buy it today in case it lashes snow again and we have to postpone our trip. |

There are no online discounts on the Belfast route (yet) booking office fare is the same. However booking online does ensure 100% refund if left standing and bookings can be made up to an hour before departure
Dublin - Newry is 29.00/39.00 Lower fare applies Monday-Thurs + Sat

Thanks for that Mark, forgot to check back.
In the end, gf phoned Connolly and asked the fare, was quoted 29 Euro, which was what I'd seen on the website. The she asked about the website, and was told that yes, booking through it would be cheaper ... Refund is a good point, it was fairly busy both ways, though no one standing that I say. But there seemed to be a fair few empty seats in the reserved carriage, so I'd probably book if going again. |
