Default 6.30am Portlaoise to Dublin

Hi,

I'll find out the answer to this tomorrow when I catch it, but can anyone tell me what the take up of the 6.30am Portlaoise to Heuston service is like?

Is it jammed by the time it gets to Sallins? Has it been on time so far?

Much obliged.

Brian

Hi Brian,

I took this service for the last 2 mornings from Kildare. It seems to be extremely busy but this is because both mornings it has run late, at least in the slot of the Carlow train that should arrive in Kildare @ 0700.

This means that in Kildare and each of the following stations the Carlow train crowd are all getting on this one.

I think it may be a bit better with the new railcars and the depot in Portlaoise but this is some way off.

I arrived both mornings between 0745 and 0750.

Regards,

KC
