In fairness it's not bizarre in my view as other posters have made references to various matters in posts here over the years without giving full details.
Well given that there are only two ferry companies to/from the UK, and it's fairly obvious that Stena were aware of it, then it can only be Irish Ferries.

Hence your reticence to name them in your post is just daft.

As jamie2k9 says, whether Irish Ferries were aware or not is irrelevant as they don't offer sail/rail options.

So be it if that's daft in your opinion.

I'm planning to get the 17:36 service to Wexford this Friday.

Does anyone know if this is a 22k? If not, I will get the later train.

Always a 4 car ICR when I use it

Its the 13:36 and 18:37 where you see 29K's

Good that it's a 22k but I'm disappointed that the €9.99 fare is not available.

Might have to get the 18:38 now. Hopefully it won't be a 29k.

It angers me greatly the fact that I have to worry about this. All trains to Wexford should be 22k operated at this stage.

I and all passengers on a long intercity journey demand comfort. A 29k will not deliver this.

The website has a 4 car 22 scheduled for the 18.38 service so unless there is a problem it should be a 22. It probably leaves the 16.37 as the 29 service?

It dosn't say however the seat maps suggests its a 22, compare to the 13.37 and you will see the difference to a 29 set.

Are some Rosslare services back to 3 coaches. Pretty sure I saw the 12:55 ex Rosslare with only 3 coaches on Wednesday 18th.

I thought all Rosslare services were operated by 4 coach 22k sets now

Could of been an operational reason but if not given the service its likely a 3 coach is more than adequate. Some of the 4 coach operations are more to do with the fleet based out of Connolly than demand and this service would be one.

I disagree. Most services should be 4 coach sets as some trains (morning and evening) can get quite busy.

I agree however I would be surpised if the above services warranted a 4 coach operation especially in winter.
