* Commuter, Cork-Dublin-Belfast and Rosslare-Limerick-Ballybrophy excluded. Connolly-Rosslare is still a mix and match.

Did the 9 car new inter city trains ever arrive??? There are no 9-car trains (but 6+3 is a possibility). The trains yet to be delivered are the last order of 55 units (17 three-car as far as I know), plus the 2 three-car demaged in transit and returned to Korea for repair. |

9 car operation as in 6+3 has been tested several times, but is of extremely limited use due platform lengths

Any idea of when IE plan to allow online bookings (and with it hopefully cheaper fares) on Wexford/Rosslare services?

Booking is probably first quarter 2010
I got a 10 euro day return Rosslare Dublin in November so cheap fares are most certainly available

Then Irish Rail should change the service to "Railcar" as it is currently "InterCity" on the website.
