Default Give up your seat

Earlier this week IE launched their "give up your seat" initiative. A big photo shoot was held in Connolly and no doubt the poster and signage campaign will be visible soon.

I'd like to remind visitors that RUI had this idea proposed to them by the then secretary of the organisation and it was greeted with negativity by members of the then committee and members in general. (thread is around here somewhere) Im not sniping, but its unfortunate that RUI, who had the idea, have been denied the opportunity to obtain publicity and credibility with a campaign that is very customer driven and media friendly.

I have no doubt that IE have ripped off the idea, due to RUIs lack of proactivity on the issue.

Shame IE made a bad job of ripping it off us.

The posters on the trains are of two enormous phones with very small text
"Please keep mobiles silent, speak quietly and give up your seat to someone who may need it".
