So are questions such as "Why is the DART timetable so infrequent?" going to become "Why is the DART timetable so perfect?"

Question

I'm not sure what that was all about

But I wouldn't reccommend having it out with him on IRN. Their management is constantly on the lookout for reasons to ban P11 members from IRN, ask myself or Philip for proof.

Edit: I'm half tempted to ask IE what they were thinking WRT 29Ks to Sligo but I'm reasonably sure they wouldn't answer.

Just sent a question to IE about the Sligo "service"

got a HTTP 500 error.

Just goes to show how seriously IE is taking this?

I really dont think its on topic here, but Sean read on , you'll see that MM has indeed, made a bigger fool of himself.

I love the line about how he dosnt really mind his precious Cork train stopping in Templemore at 6.57, sure its only a commuter train, but he sure dosnt like the others stopping there. The implication of course being that the trains are run for the benifit of the staff, not the passengers. Unlike MM, I always knew the facts, he said I didnt, I thought we'd have to wait till Jan 7th to prove it, because I made an agreement not to disclose our talks with IE managment, who have been decent to us (TTUG). As you can see, he's not happy with those other two trains having to stop, however, I understand that IE have structured it in a way that it'll keep him happy.

My question for the webcast by the way is this:

"Do you think it is acceptable for Irish Rail Staff to object to passengers having an input into the way the railway is run?"

I wouldn't worry about it too much Sean. They refused to let me join because I questioned the validity of one of their "managers" comments in relation to rail freight on "THIS" board. Apparently he's entitled to his opinion, but Im not entitled to mine. I don't lose sleep over it. Its only the internet afterall. The real world is a vastly different place.

my question will be "When is the €25m revamp of Corks Kent station, promised in Jan 2005, going to occur and why spend €4m now when it will have to be ripped up when the revamp does occur?"

The rumour mill suggests that there is a developer problem with the original revamp.

well P11 committee, are you all geared up for the webchat (which had a server error when i tried to submit a question, caused an error when I had a euro sign in the question and also caused an error when I had put in an actual question mark which defeats the purpose because you are then technically not asking a question!)

Because the whole internet would've come crashing down with the amount of people getting involved.
