Default Lisburn-Portadown closure and comments on translink website

Lisburn to Portadown currently closed due to an electricity cable fallen on the line. No estimate of for how long

This was not noted on the main translink website but on their twitter page. Their providing of information in recent weeks has become erratic at best:

Some items on company site only

Some items on twitter only

Some items posted on twitter only the next day (1930 to Larne 25 minutes late seen the next morning for instance)

There are numerous instances of trains delayed not being reported or incorrect cancellation reports

Most of this concerns trainslink local services and not the enterprise but I would advise anyone needing up to date translink information to check both their own website plus

http://twitter.com/nirailways or http://twitter.com/enterprisetrain

Twitter can be quite fickle in reporting times and tends to show Californian time, so it can be confusing.
