06:50 Belfast/Dublin is a 3 piece C3K - no enterprise. presumably 09:35 Dublin/Belfast same arrangement.

They'd better have that sorted out by later; that set should operate 1230 Central-Connolly and 1650 Connolly-Central and I would expect quite heavy crowding on the latter.

Enterprise Twitter update says
"Non Enterprise - 0935 Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central no 1st class and limited catering, due to knock on affect from earlier breakdown."

No mention of problems / issues to later services.

I dont have to worry about the train today as after turning up for the 7.27 Mullingar I found it was a 'non runner' and had to drive to Dublin instead.

Thanks for the notice Irish Rail - isnt today a normal working day??????

Maybe the 7.27 is only for civil servants and the like who dont have to come to work as often as the rest of us.

1105 Galway-Dublin Heuston is running 49 minutes late.

Some delays on Maynooth and Heuston-Cork/Waterford services.

Nitelink, Nite Luas and Nightrider are operating tonight.

Irish Rail / Dublin Bus services terminate by 2100/2200 on all routes - last departures are earlier than that. Bus Eireann services will vary. Luas running a Saturday service until 2430.

Check before travelling.

So turned up for the 17.59 Pearse to Drogheda.
Counted down to 4 minutes, then stuck for 5 more mins on same, then disappeared of the displays. No announcements, nothing on the displays.
So rang Connolly. They had no information available, but rang the 'regulator'.
Driver had failed to show up earlier, so that service was cancelled.
Asked why no announcement? Apologies, and they would look into it.
There was an announcement soon after, but there was a very loud inbound Maynooth train sitting on the opposite platform, so no one could hear a thing.
Anyhow, waited for the next Drogheda bound train, but that also failed to show up (18.15). The display sat at 2 mins for the next 15 mins.
When I rang, again no information, but he did investigate.
This time they intended putting the earlier 4 car set with the 18.15 (forming an 8 car set), but they encountered technical difficulties. I asked would they again tell everyone what was happening.
It eventually turned up around 18.30, but because they held the previous DART, we flew to Howth Junction. Train was fairly full, standing room only.
Just another average evening with Irish rail!
