Well once again great notice is given
The works are not in Clonsilla Station they are a good few hundred yards up at the old junction with the Navan line Quote:

If the works are up towards the junction could they not terminate the trains in clonsilla since they wouldnt be anywhere near the junction or are they doing anything to the station during the works

Presumably that would be cutting it very fine. I don't think the trackwork is in place to support that.
Does this mean than when construction on then Dunboyne spur finally starts, that there will be no further need to close the mainline? |

Arrived at clonsilla station a short while ago the ticket office is closed. Outside the station there are three a4 pages and the notices are in pink highlighter. Two notices are for special services today and tomorrow. There is third notice up listing trains for tonight and tomorrow morning. There are the trains that are cancelled but the notice doesnt say what the story is with these trains doesnt say anything about them. One can be forgiven for thinking there are extra trains. There was no information on this posted at clonsilla station that i could see this week the only good thing was there was a audio announcement played and it was pretty clear and concise

Just to add got the 21.55 pearse-maynooth home this evening and there were people standing at ashtown, coolmine and clonsilla stations waiting on a non-existing (cancelled) train in the lashing rain might i add.
