I headed to Connolly once I was allowed cross the bridge over the liffey. Howth DART arrived and only 6 carriages.

I got caught up in the delays last Thursday also. Think I was on the first
northbound DART that went past Pearse around 6:15pm, and that too was only 6 carriages.

On the 5.30pm Bray Maynooth service yesterday evening.
It ran fine when the queen was in town so was hoping for a repeat performance.
Services were meant to resume northbound from pearse at 6.15 but we didnt move off till 7.10 pm. Northbound darts were terminating at pearse and returning southbound until 7pm as well. There seemed alot of confusion on the platforms especially with northbound darts dumping hundreds of passengers into pearse station presumably to somehow walk accross the liffey to connolly.
Still, Obama gave a great speech so I'll let him away with the extra hour I spent in pearse!
Could have been a bit more communication all the same.
