The line has been completely closed between Tipperary and Clonmel for track relaying these last few weeks. Also there has been extensive relaying work near Nenagh on the North Tipp line.

The cynic in me says that this is bad news as money spent on such things can be used as evidence of really big losses. On the other hand it would be unlikely that a Green minister for transport would countenance rail closures. But maybe he is more interested in bicycles rather than trains.

Seriously though, I would imagine that when other lines revert to normal timetables the North and South Tipperary lines will resume services.
