Default On Train Surveys

Quite a lot of chatter on various social media in recent days on the topic of on train surveys

Few points

1. Irish Rail is currently conducting a survey onboard its trains
2. The researcher is NOT an Irish Rail employee
3. You are under no obligation to take part
4. This is not a ticket check

Despite what the researcher may state, you can ignore any requests they make. They must be able to produce ID and authorisation to carry out the survey.

Irish Rail staff acting in an official capacity will always show an ID card and/or a warrant card when checking tickets
