Update : Bus transfers in operation Newry to Dundalk due to security alert by Press Office

Update: Monday 22nd March 2010 - 12.15hrs

Bus transfers are still in place between Newry and Dundalk on Belfast/Dublin services, due to a security alert. Normal services are not expected to return before lunchtime tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd March, at the earliest.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

The railway line between Newry and Dundalk has reopened following a security alert.

Full Belfast/Dublin services are now operating again.
