Little birdy tells me that a major announcement on the WRC is planned for monday or tuesday. No idea what it is.

Interesting, I mentioned on another thread, can't remember where, that Bertie was in Ennis last Thursday and announced that the Ennis bypass would be opening on December 14th, but failed to mention Ennis-Galway (train)

That would have been the ideal time to make such an announcement, assuming it was positve of course.

A lad here has just mentioned to me that Ennis-Athenry has been (re) announced somewhere today. Has anybody heard anything?

Item on TV3 news this evening. The minister was down in Athenry sitting on a 29000 letting all the photographers take pictures and was giving the usual PR spin.

29000 units are not even allow west of Portarlington hmmm

That said the train could have been elsewhere with punters on it
