They said 'products', so applies to monthly/annual only

Approved increases for Iarnród Éireann’s Cork/Cobh/Midleton products are on the basis that these will be made available on the Leap card format by 1st August 2014. If that date is not achieved, and if the Authority does not approve the reasons for the missed deadline, then these newly approved fares are to revert to their rates prior to 1st December 2013.

Leap Card available for Adult and Student Weekly, and Adult, Student and Child Monthly tickets from 1st December, from Payzone outlets

From December 1st Iarnród Éireann customers will be able to purchase the following Leap products at Payzone outlets.


Cork to Cobh and Midleton Route
Adult Weekly
Adult Monthly
Child Monthly
Student Weekly
Student Monthly.
