It's probably a straightforward calaculation.
Would the number of passengers to Cork and Limerick lost because of the extra time be outweighed by the number who used those services in those stations. The only marginal surprise is that it would stop in Charleville rather than Thurles or Port Laoise. You'd expect those towns to provide more passengers. |
