Default Warning on broombridge station

Just thought I'd post this here. A word of warning there has been a number of incidents where gangs have been boarding trains at broombridge and snatching peoples belongings. Drivers have been announcing as trains arrived at broombridge to hide their belongings.

There is a grda station 5-10 minutes walk up the road. They or ie security need to start taking action or trains need to stop calling at broombridge until these issues are resolved. The last time trains stopped calling action was taken by local authorities after trains stopped calling there.

Something needs to be done! They are risking passengers safety by continuing to stop there currently

Anyway the boards thread is here!

Doubt IE can just stop serving the station without NTA approval and sanctions if they do otherwise.

Thumbs up

BÁC has been known to stop serving locations in the event of anti-social behaviour.

Agreed! While having the trains not stopping there may not make much difference given that they would still be within reach of trains in other ways, at least they would no longer be within reach of passengers to snatch their belongings.

At least by suspending services stopping at the station this may gather local attention whichay in turn put pressure on local authorities to take action.
