Adamstown is further west, you can see it here in birdseye:
http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...cl=1&encType=1 Like they are currently doing with Howth Junction / Donaghmede, Clondalkin / Fonthill might be a temporary name with Fonthill the eventual name? Considering the village of Clondalkin is south of the train station and is set to have its own Metro West stop down the line I would have assumed that calling the rail station 'Fonthill' was the most logical choice for IE. I think Adamstown is ever so slightly further west - http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...cl=1&encType=1
Kishoge NOT Kishogue. The IÉ system still has "Cherry Orchard and Park West" - this has changed. Also note the area is Parkwest - one word. Add "Station" after each item and "Closed" where appropriate. There is pedestrain and cyclist access to Clondalkin Fonthill here: http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...cl=1&encType=1 Clondalkin Fonthill, Clondalkin / Fonthill, Clondalkin-Fonthill, Clondalkin, Fonthill name is up in the air.

The platform signs say "Clondalkin / Fonthill" which one would expect to be halfway between the towns of Clondalkin and Fonthill.
Irish Rail are, I understand, tempted to just call it "Clondalkin" - but this risks not alerting people to the new location. The RPA plan to have a Metro West stop nearer Clondalkin village called "Clondalkin" and propose to call Clondalkin Fonthill the misnomer of "Fonthill" (Fonthill House is 3km away). I would be happy with "Clondalkin Fonthill" or "Clondalkin - Fonthill".

When I was there, it looked awfully like a complete second station building.
Metro West will have a stop immediately north of the second building. Of course, having a second exit would make much more seense at Kishoge, where crossing the 6-lane dual carriageway will be a problem. The station building will be between the two bridges (old bridge demolished). http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...5551&encType=1
