Where is the Catering Car?
to be straight to the point I am wondering why is there no catering car on the Dublin-Sligo route? I was talking to my local station worker and he explained that the catering car will not be on the new trains until 2009! Is this true?
If yes, typical Irish Rail, always wanting you to wait months/years for an improvement and then brag on about how great they are! |

There is a catering trolley on all trains on the Sligo line which is the same as you get everywhere else.
Its only if first class is provided it there actually real hot food. Sligo is meant to get one first class + catering 6 coach set in due course
