[5-8-2008] 5.45am Sligo-Connolly train delayed
Sligo train delayed. Arrived 22 mins late into Mullingar and seems to be in no hurry to get to Dublin. No reason given in the announcements..

I take it its still running late! It did not seem to pass clonsilla at the expected time and the 08:17 maynooth pearse is on course at ashtown at the moment so its probably stuck behind

Indeed..it stopped in Killucan, awaiting the Sligo bound train and was delayed a little longer. Passing Ashtown now and it's flying in since Maynooth.
The driver announced there were 'operational diffculities' (that's the way he pronounced it, multiple times!) between Longford and Edgeworthstown.. |
