This train was 45 mins late (at carlow) and arrived in heuston at 09:30

The delay was caused by the inability to unlock the gates at Muillinavat.

Only in Ireland would this class of werid delay occur.

Normally all you need is a carraige key to unlock the gates, the guard should be able to handle this with only a few minutes delay
