So Irish Rail where good enough to tell us about the problems in Athlone, of course they say its not their fault, strangely when it is their fault they won't put up a notice

Due to mechanical difficulties the 0735 Enterprise from Dublin to Belfast has failed in Portadown.
Passengers will be transferred on to a local train service.
This train will arrive in to Belfast Central at 1035.

Due to mechanical difficulties the 1030 Enterprise from Belfast to Dublin will now operate as a non-Enterprise service. As such First Plus will not be available and catering will be limited.
