First Class seats at no extra cost!
Yes, this is no gimmick, you can currently get a first class seat on the Enterprise with a standard class ticket. Just go to the end coach, next to the locomotive (that's first coach northbound, last coach southbound), and you've a 1 in 3 chance that it will be a first class coach operating as standard.
I presume that there's a standard class coach out of service for refurbishment, and rather than run a coach short, they stuck a first class in instead. I think this is an excellent move, as there are serious capacity issues when they run shorter trains. Obviously there are still less seats than in a standard class, but at least there is more capacity than when the train runs short. And it means we can enjoy the comfey seats. |

Should point out if you are on any train which is not listed as having first class in the timetable and you find a first class coach in the train sit in it they have no come back on you
The first class coach on enterprise is easily spotted by the red livery at the ends, its been out for a few weeks like this |

We've had CityGold and First Class for free on Westport for the last 2 years, when they have the carriages on it.
