Intercity Food / Catering experience
I was on a train from Cork - Dublin on Friday (19:30 hrs served by a MK3 set) The catering trolley was selling Apple Danishes with green mould on them! Either they're not storing the food correctly i.e. in a chilled area or they're letting things go past their sell-by date.
Either way, IE need to seriously improve their catering standards. It just doesn't look good and it would put me off eating on-board an older intercity train again! Anyone had similar experiences? |
