Luas Citywest Installation Of The Electrical Systems
11 March 2011

The installation of the electrical systems on Luas Citywest, the extension of the Luas Red Line from Belgard to Saggart, is now complete.

From Sunday 13th March 2011 all overhead and ground level electricity cables on Luas Citywest, will be live. For your safety keep clear of the cables and poles.

When the new extension becomes operational access to the tramway is only permitted at certain areas, such as stops and junctions. It is an offence to trespass on all other areas; please respect all signage and fencing for your own safety and wellbeing.

To find out more sign up for emails at www.rpa.ie

While construction work on Luas Citywest is now almost complete most of the new line still remains a construction site. Until all testing is complete members of the public are not permitted to trespass on or around the construction site.
