Cheap fares going to Sligo.

Folks I am wondering will IR ever offer 10 euro day return fares from Sligo to Longford or even Mullingar. I have spoke of this before on other forums and as we all know there are plenty of seats on the train once it leaves Mullingar. I welcome the ten euro fair that is currently in operation on all offpeak services to Dublin but I fell with the mighty pen a similar offer could be put in place heading to the West. This could be repeated on the all the intercity routes and with the disastrous incident in Malahide IR will be looking for as much money as they can possibly get to repair the viaduct
