Dead man found in train toilet

The Evening Herald is reporting today that the body of a young man was found in a train toilet in Connolly station.

Cleaners made the discovery at 11.40 last Monday on a commuter train that was due to depart for Longford at 11.53. It is thought that the body had being lying there for a number of hours. Gardai are examining the CCTV footage from the train in an attempt to piece together the chain of events and establish a time as to when the man entered the toilet.

It is believed that the man was in his 20s and died as a result of a drug overdose.
