It doesn't tell us why the trains are cancelled. It doesn't tell us where the works are being carried out and why. It doesn't explain that there are changes to the Limerick Junction - Limerick connections of the Cork trains And why the fascination with Athlone? why not Tullamore?

![]() On the last point, I would guess it has something to do with not being able to turn a train at Tullamore.

![]() Hazlehatch Heuston side of works must be off this weekend, is it? Doesn't seem to be any disruption to kildare commuter services apart from 12.20 Heuston Kildare (sunday) deferred by 5 minutes.

![]() Just to explain this
There is no problem running the 22:45 service to Kildare there is nothing in the way to stop it. The 22:45 is cancelled since Irish Rail are too lazy to park the railcar in Kildare overnight No one is really going to miss the first Heuston Kildare local train on a Sunday anyway So once again we suffer since Irish Rail want to be lazy

![]() Are any staff on duty at Kildare at night? If IE work the same as NIR/Translink overnight then it is not permitted to leave a train overnight at an unstaffed location

![]() It's at times like these Galway-Mullingar-Connolly paths would be useful.
