![]() Hello everyone,
Fir the 3rd year in a row the wife is allowing me to spend 5 days travelling on the Irish network! I will be visiting mid September and have a few questions? 1. Will the Ennis to Galway line be open? 2. Is the the daily afternoon Limmerick Jctn to Rosslaire service reliable? In that does it run on a regular basis? 3. Is the morning Ballybrophy to Limerick service via Nenagh a reliable runner, especialy on Saturdays? (i don't want to be put on a bus) 4. Is the Tralee & Dingle railway still out of action? 5 Can anyone recomend a decent hotel near to Heuston station? So many questions!! Thanks in advance, David |

![]() Is the Tralee/Blennerville railway out of action? Well have a look at his thread on the Tralee Blog - photos taken this March. This train ain't going anywhere in the forseeable future.

![]() Gentlemen,
Thank you for the swift response. Its very sad to see the photographs of the Tralee and Dingle, if you go on Tralee tourism site, it shows the railway in running order and gives times for it! A lot of tourists must be upset when they arrive at Tralee. Never mind, still lots to do in September and I will have an excuse to return in 2010 to sample the new lines that have yet to open.
