Default Additional Services on Maynooth Line?

Can anybody advise if any additional services are planned for the Maynooth commuter service in the next few years (to end-2011)?

The reason I ask is because Dublin City Council are giving planning permission for a huge amount of development in my area (Ashtown) on the basis that we have public transport on our doorstep. They seem to disregard the fact that you have to squeeze on at Ashtown with the current population. More than double the current population is planned for the coming years.

Thanks again Mark.

All the above subject to finance being available I'm sure. Shouldn't be any problems in that regard!
