Intercity trains.
I am aware that the new 22000 Intercity stock have started being introduced into service on the Rosslare route as a journey in each direction have been taken over by the new trains. However, the online timetable hasn't been changed to reflect this as it still says "Railcar". Would anyone agree with me that this is a tiny bit misleading?

At least it is understating it, not over-stating.

Nope, its not an intercity service
There are numerous commuter services countrywide operated by intercity type trains

So we've had the first 22k along the east coast line from Gorey to Dublin Connolly.
Now what about all the way to Rosslare? Is there another set to come into service soon? Although looking at the current timetable its hard to see where a new set could be used as most of the trains from Rosslare go onto Drogheda/Dundalk/Maynooth. Might have to wait until the new timetable when it's back to the traditional Dublin Connolly to Rosslare, Rosslare to Dublin Connolly. |
