![]() The Fintona Ultra-Light Horse Maglev...only a matter of time now.
Transport proposals New Ross Standard - Thursday 5 January 2005 Sinn Féin outlined proposals yesterday (Tuesday) which they say will bring transport infrastructure on the New Ross to Waterford route into the 21st century. The Sinn Féin plan, which Cllr. John Dwyer said will be formally launched later this year, contains a number of key proposals. These include a park and ride facility in the Raheen area of New Ross; an inner-relief bridge crossing at Marshmeadows; a Luas type train service from New Ross to Waterford and using the second river crossing in Waterford to piggyback that new rail system into the heart of Waterford's industrial and commercial areas. |
