Default [22/23/25-05-2008] bruce springsteen concert in the rds

Just saw a notice on the irish rail website that extra capacity on darts will be provided for the bruce springsteen concert in the rds on thursday friday and sunday night according to the irish rail website

At tara street it is advertising the first northbound concert as around 22:50. Just wondering is there any plans for deferring the last drogheda and maynooth trains on these nights?

Northbound Trains delayed due to late ending of tonights [thu 22-5-2008] concert.

Large number of passengers awaiting the maynooth train at pearse which has just departed pearse at 23:24.

Update: we have just left connolly at 23:39 packed with alot of people standing!

Last night the concert finished not long after half ten.

The 23:10 pearse maynooth departed pearse at 23:15 and went to connolly platform seven [after stopping at tara street] where it sat until just after 23:30

Northbound darts used platform six to give maynooth passengers the connection.

The maynooth train was not as packed last as the night before but all seats taken up and a fair few standing.

Pity there is no train to maynooth sunday night after the concert as they have done well over the last two nights. Would have done well sunday night.
