Should have been obvious a lot earlier that this would happen

6:55 - Stop at cherryville junction, nice snow flurry out.
7:00 - "Delayed due to signals"
7:10 - "Problem with points should be fixed in 20 mins"
7:50 - "Workers on site and should be moving shortly"
8:25 - Move off

Fortunatly the guard didn't fully close off the PA so we got to listen to the to-ing and fro-ing with control. It took way longer than expected for someone to get from Kildare to the Cherryville junction due to the state of the roads.

I suppose we should be grateful, I think the 6:30 overnighted in carlow due to the engineering works, if it had to come from Dublin we would have been without a train.

They were giving out the refund forms when we go to heuston. I'll be claiming my 1/31st of my monthly ticket this evening.
