Service Alterations between Cork & Mallow due to remedial track works

23 May 2016

The following service alterations are in place between Cork & Mallow due to remedial track works.

Update: Monday 23rd May 2016 @17:00hrs

Monday 23rdBus Transfers

There will be bus transfers between Cork & Mallow*on the following services;

12:00hrs Heuston - Cork13:20hrs Cork - Heuston14:00hrs Heuston - Cork15:20hrs Cork - Heuston16:00hrs Heuston - Cork17:20hrs Cork - Heuston18:00hrs Heuston - Cork19:00hrs Heuston - Cork19:20hrs Cork - Heuston21:00hrs Heuston - CorkCancelled Services

The following services have been cancelled;

16:55hrs Cork - Tralee - Customers will be accomodated on the 17:20hrs bus transfer to Mallow where they will connect in with a train service from Mallow to Tralee.22:00hrs Cork - Mallow22:30hrs Mallow - Cork23:00hrs Cork - MallowTuesday 24thBus transfersCork - Dublin Heuston - All services will operte with a bus transferbetween Cork & MallowCork - Tralee - All services will operte with a bus transferbetween Cork & Mallow*Cork - MallowCancelled ServicesMallow - Cork -*All*commuter services have been cancelled. Customers will be accommodated on Dublin/Cork and Tralee/Cork services.

Delays of up to 30/45 minutes can be expected to some services.

Iarnród Éireann apologise for any inconvenience these essential works may cause

Damage to culvert 4 miles from Cork according to Irish Rail.

Will be re-opening at 19.00 so services departing Heuston from 17.00 will operate as normal as will 20.20 ex Cork.

its a very small culvert, saw pics of the works last night, they say it hadn't been opened up since the track was laid back in the famine times, the walls of it looks pristine.
