Where did you find that story - there doesn't seem to be anything on the front of irishrail.ie

Really? I got it from the home page of irishrail.ie not long ago.

They had an alert on the homepage just before.14.00 nd they posted it on twitter

Platform displays seemed to be indicating some DARTs were terminating at Howth Junction as well.
