In connection with these fixtures, the following special services will operate:

15.10 Maynooth to Dublin Connolly

17.50 Maynooth to Dublin Connolly

19.52 Dublin Connolly to Maynooth

20.50 Dublin Connolly to Maynooth

21.30 Dublin Connolly to Maynooth

Due to expected heavy loadings before and after the match, DART, Sligo and Rosslare InterCity, Belfast Enterprise, Maynooth & Northern Commuter Services may be delayed by 30 - 40 minutes from 13.00 onwards.
Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

Is this for real ? Almost everything to everywhere subject to delays of 30 to 40 minutes from 1300 to close of business.

Perhaps flights to and from Dublin Airport will be delayed as well !

Now you know why people say Connolly is a bottleneck. Not just in terms of train movements, but the masses of people will cause problems too.

This level of congestion exists in Irish Rail's imagination - advising potential 30-40 minute delays is a butt covering exercise rather than realistic information.
