All services expected to operate, but possible delays and some cancellations.

Trains have been less affected than road be the snow. However, be careful of untreated platforms (especially the textured platform edges and less used parts of platforms that may have build-ups of ice), steps, bridges, footpaths and crossings.

Just to warn, a substancial amount of snow has accumilated in the Leinster area overnight along with a number of lightening strikes

There could be problems in the morning so best to check!

As of 6.30am, all southbound DARTs and Drogheda services are running up to 6 mins late. We'll see how things progress during the morning...

We had a train breakdown around Ashtown. I think the 7.10 from Dunboyne broke down.

I was on the 7.15 from Maynooth to Conolly. Got into Connolly around 8.15-8.20

Snow clogged up points at Connolly, mainly effecting northbound services

07:40 - Waterford - Heuston running 33 minutes late. (Kishogue)
07:20 - Heuston - Waterford running 22 minutes late. (Cherryville Junction)
09:10 - Heuston - Waterford running 22 minutes late. (Cherryville Junction)

Some other Heuston services running around 10 minutes late.

The Luas Red and Green Lines are expected to operate till 00.30 as per the timetable.

Please note the Green line service is in operation from Sandyford stop to Brides Glen stop only.

There is no Green Line service between St Stephens Green and Sandyford Stop as of now.

On the Red Line Connolly Luas stop is closed - The service is operating fully between The Point stop and Tallaght.

Luas service updates will commence again at 6am tomorrow Thursday December 2nd 2010.

Passengers are advised to check www.transport.ie for transport information and listen to AA Roadwatch and local and national media for Luas service updates.
