There were about 30ish in total bewilderment, astonished, stunned!
At first I thought we had been taken by aliens and left back at Confey with partial memory erasement... but the reality was even more far fetched. Never mind... |

My point is if that was the last train, or there was a large gap waiting on trains you would have had problems. All over a stupid mistake made by the driver! I think there would have been just cause to pull the emergency handle |

We'll mark that one down as train "failed to run as scheduled". This is annoying but not surprising.

i wouldn't leave that idol i would seriously complain about that!
Irrespective of the circumstances, you were inconvinienced, luckily the 19:15 hadnt passed if your train wad late you would be waiting a while! On a side note, unusual for a driver to forget to open or shut the doors. If he had gone to lock the doors he would have noticed they werent even open, strange! |

I have written approval from Irish Rail that if you find yourself at on train stopped at a station and the doors won't open that you can pull the emergency handle, cord etc without fear of any hassle
The black box onboard will record if the doors where unlocked or not

Imagine if someone was meeting you off the train with a lift, saw no-one coming and said, ah he must have missed it, and headed away!
