So the DART suffers a partial shutdown for about 3 hours due to what is normally deemed a major fault, allowing for the time to get on site fairly impressive turnaround
The boys in the RPA, Connex and Alstom need to take note, 6 hours shutdown over a single tram failure isn't acceptable You got to accept things will break but the response should be prompt, so thumbs up to IE for today quick fix to a tricky fault. Major thumbs down to the RPA, Connex and Alstom much simpler problem very poorly handled Last edited by Mark Gleeson : 22-02-2006 at 14:22. |

My question is why couldn't they mechanically release the brakes (difficult, but could be done in roughly forty minutes), get either a tractor, bulldozer or another tram to go behind the failed one and push it as far as stephen's green for the remainder of the evening?
