![]() The Revenue protection unit were camped out in Carlow station last night, and again for the 07:24 this morning.

![]() If they ask you for a ticket and you don't/can't/won't show it/give it up, and won't give and prove your name and address, they are permitted to detain you until the GardaĆ* arrive. But that's the only circumstance.
