Security Alert on Belfast train 13/11?
Not sure if this is the best forum to post this in, but is anyone aware of a security alert on the Belfast-Dublin train on Monday 13/11 which caused congestion in Connolly?
Haven't seen any comments about it here or elsewhere, but this was the excuse I was given for my 9:28 Killester-Blackrock DART being 15 minutes late: "Dear Sir, Thank you for your email. The cause of the delay yesterday morning was due to a security alert on the Belfast train which delayed the train and had a knock on effect on our rush hour trains and caused congestion in Connolly station. We apologise for the inconvenience and also for our driver who should have made an announcement. Regards Customer Service DART." |

Thanks, have reached the stage where I don't believe anything they tell me anymore. Just wanted to check as I hadn't seen a report of it anywhere.
