Default Toilet charge at Connolly

There have been turnstiles installed on the toilets in Connolly, and there's signs up saying there is a 20c charge coming in on Thursday.

I imagine folks in the know will just use the Oslö bar toilets instead.

Ironically the toilets in Oslo aren't much smaller than the IE job. Is there some clown in IE headquarters that keeps looking for new ways to make their main stations customer hostile?

Before Connolly Station was rebuilt, the station had a large group of toilets, at least in the mens anyway. Now it's a pokey little cupboard that you couldn't swing a cat in.

Two years ago, before the introduction of those stupid turnstiles, that whole area was a large passenger seating area. Now, it's a sea of stupid turnstiles.

But that wasn't enough and now they want to charge you and put you through another damn turnstile just to use the toilets! now most of the floorspace in Connolly's plaza will be taken up by bloody turnstiles.

This whole thread is "Reason No. 15 to get the BUS" in my book.

If only they had paper, closing / locking doors that don't let everyone see the 6-year old in the cubicle from 25m away / didn't smell and were dry.

The "relatively" was relative to the old ones

The ones in Hesuton which have a similar charge are usually clean and well stocked.

Had a look earlier, very nice (I think they even have daylight. ), plenty of cubicles, but lets see how the stand up to abuse. One issue is that they are now down a (wide-ish) corridor, meaning they are no longer visible to the staff at the ticket line. It would have been nice if they put free toilets on the paid side of hte ticket barrier.

Once more the outer door is held open (into a space where food in served and consumed)

Cold water only in the over-sized wash basins.

Theres a sign at the entrance to Oslo directing you to "Public Toilets Located across from the shop, through the glass doors" so they won't be taking any of the new custom willingly. I didn't see any glass doors.

The inside lift (between Oslo and the ticket gates) smells of wee.
