![]() I'm sure there must be someone who can inform me the reason why depotmen are required to show the green flag to drivers at rural stations? This is a trick question.

![]() Not just rural stations, it happens on dispatched trains at Pearse and elsewhere as well. It's simply to let them know that it's safe for them to leave.
