I am currently in my apartment in Temple Bar. So far it seems ok outside, lots of people drinking. I was woken by the fire alarm in my building last night. I went down to shut it off and was greeted by 30 party goes on the stairs, about an hour later the drums came out.,,,

I don't plan on going outside today and have stocked up on food. I am guessing the usual chaos will ensue on Dublin's streets and tomorrow, town will smell like old body fluids and the kebabs of the night before.

Worse still it is for the weekend this time so I can expect this every night. Oh the joys of St. Patrick's Day.

Anyone who isn't ashamed of what out national day has become, have a good one.
