![]() Yes another dreary commute trailing a late running DART. The offending service (with about 20 passengers still on board) had not left Howth Junction (for Howth) as we passed on an 8-car 2900 set with around 1000 passengers having averaged 15mph from Pearse. Really impressive stuff !

![]() I don't know why they even bother reporting this. The 1805 Connolly to Sligo that I normally take has rarely been less than 15 minutes late at Edgeworthstown since the start of October.
This time of year is such a grind of the train. The overall punctuality statistic is completely meaningless for commuters - especially in the evening where everything is messed up by the 1700 Sligo to Connolly which has to cross with 5 trains. |
