![]() This was a bad one as it turned out. While it started at 16.15, by 18.00 it was still not resolved. I waited an hour in Lansdowne Rd from 17.00 to 18.00. I wrongly guessed they would get things running earlier.
![]() At 17.45 they started running southbound DARTs into the northbound platform at Lansdowne and turning them around. They arrived packed with southbound passengers, who all looked very unhappy with having to get off, as I assume they had waited a long time to get on that particular DART. It took about 15 mins to turn the first DART around........ Most passengers should be entitled to a refund as delay was well over 1 hour. I wonder what time normal DART services resumed? I rang the Connolly information desk at 17.20/30 ish, but they had no idea what was happening. The displays remained static for a long time, and the website showed delays to services, but indicated they were running, which turned out to be incorrect. Also Connolly had no information on the turning around of services at Lansdowne road. The problem there was lots of people left Lansdowne road walked to Pearse, but then could not get on the northbound DARTs as they were packed. ![]()
