Default [11-10-2010] 05:45 Sligo-Dublin about 25 minutes late

According the driver, we have slippy rail conditions. I suppose it was to be expected after the wind on Saturday.

Left Drumcondra at 0904 which is 26 minutes late and we are now having a little rest at Croke park.

This is a wheelslip (autumn leaves) problem. Every single year it repeats itself without fail. Last friday, I got off the 23:10 in ashtown and the usual symptoms of the revving of the engine and the length of time to depart the station! I knew it was that time of the year again!

Here's the thread from last year!
