O’Leary calls for new roadway outside of the M25

Ryan Air boss Michael O’Leary says the Government should look to developing an outer orbital roadway outside of the M25 rather than spend millions on a proposed Dublin Airport Metro link.

Mr. O’Leary claims that the proposed metro would only handle about 20 per cent of all air traffic in Dublin.

He claimed the vast majority of incoming visitors were not going into the centre of Dublin, but down the country.

"The 1.5 billion would be far better spent on an outer orbital roadway outside of the M25," he claimed.

Why doesn't he fly people to down the country then?
Is he just trying to get a quick way in his Merc from the airport to his mansion in Westmeath. Would he then pay for another orbital ring road outside that orbital ring road when all the 17 year olds have to be given cars and fill up that road.

What is O'Leary's problem?
